Anybody catching any smallmouth around the sandy Creek area? Been trying watoma and Devils nose can't seem to even get a bite

Gave up around Sandy. Tried for years when I first moved out here.  Go to Lake Erie and catch some bass. You won't be disappointed. See the previous thread.

I've caught a few but that was 10 years ago. But I haven't seen what happened sonce the gobies came around

It's definitely not what it used to be. They're out there somewhere lol I saw a whole bunch in real shallow at watoma a few weeks ago sitting on beds. Lately I've fished deep, shallow, and everywhere in between. Maybe it's my luck but still not one smallmouth out of the lake

the bass are shallow early then move out deeper.Had good luck last year late summer.Fish are there different tactics ,clear line and sometimes i use my leadcore when deeper ,very effective last summer
