Went 2 for 3 last night. Lost the best fish of the season (so far) at the net. My board is 30" and I know it would have hung over.

Bag of fillets from the two keepers weighed 3 1/4 lbs. Blue light bottle was used for reference, but didn't make it back to the refrigerator.

I also wanted to tell you my gps trolling speed into the current is usually 0.3 - 0.8 I seldom troll over 1.0 unless north wind pushes me faster. Often I slip troll with very little up river movement. That's why I use my main motor so I can instantly adjust my speed.

Thanks for that. I'm going about 1.5 most of the time. Bet i'm getting away with it because with the bouncers I've got the rod in my hand and constantly ease it forward and then let it settle back. Strikes are almost always on the pause.

I got 4 last night all jigging 25-38 fow. Had to work hard for them. With all the weeds and bugs on top of the water I did not even try trolling

I don't really ever post. I figured I would stop and say hi. I am always watching and enjoy reading your guys report. It gets me pumped for the weekends!!

There were three of us and we landed 3 nice 19 20 inchers in 25 fow jigging. One was a double header which was cool. Bugs were bad so we called it and went home early
