Had fleas yesterday as we picked a few lakers yesterday on the north end. Not real bad but amazed at how much of an increase from last week. For folks downrigging in Red Cross derby suggest you bring some big mono or flea flicker. Good luck!

They were pretty nasty north of Long Point last weekend - heard they were better on the West side.

 

Fished between Taugannok and Milliken on Monday, they weren't too bad on either shore.

I fished Wednesday and fished 10 lb test with no problems We have been crushing them.

Dan - Bloodrun Tackle has something that I think is actually better it is called Sea Flee mono in 30 lb test check their website or check with local dealer

Yes any 30lb is too big for the fleas to grab. That's all I run when they get too bad

fished long point yesterday afternoon and they were getting bad. MUCH WORSE than last week.
