Canandaigua 7-26

Called blueghost to join me for a last minute trip since the boat has been parked on the lake since the derby due to fishing the big pond with FLX Troller the past month and a half. Left dock around 5:30 and headed to the north end east side. Set up gear running 4 riggers and 2 dipsey in 90 fow. Moved in to 80 fow and screen light up. First fish on 150 dipsey pulling mountain dew spinny with a white chartreuse fly. Second fish came on same set up and then doubled with 88 rigger with green dot seneca ghost. Crossed over at the dragon wall with nada. Turned back around and hit same way points picking up a few more lakers on the 88 and 80 rigger. Picked up a small rainbow on the 55 rigger pulling a fl uv sea sick waddler. Also missed one that slammed the 25 foot rigger pulling a gold orange honey bee. Found the hook severely bent when checked lure. Worked that area till things just shut down at 8:30. Lots of good marks up there with lots of streakers just couldn't get them to go. Headed south on east side and marked a ton of fish and bait south of Pelican point marina but no takers. Ended morning 7 for 10. Very good quality lakers today 6-11lbs.

Nice going fellas   It hasn't been the easiest lake to fish for much of this season either....maybe things are looking up a bit out there
