Looking for any report in regards to how deep the smallies and walley are holding up?

I'm about 20 miles down river so not sure if it is the same but the walleye bite has been excellent. Limits have been the rule if your willing to fish the night bite and know the right techniques and locations. Bass bite seems to have been off since a couple week after the opener although there are some very nice fish being caught. The Bass Pros brought in some great catches in the Elite last weekend but said they were catching fewer fish than a couple years ago.
