Does anyone have an old unit around? I need the linear drive! The gears in my unit are stripped!

Joey post this on GLA or somewhere in Michigan--many more older operations over there that may have updated or have multiple spares.

As of last fall Raymarine was still repairing or exchanging the older linear drive 1 units. Worth a call to find out if they still are.

 I will vinny thanks!    I called raymarine today and he didnt mention anything about repairing it just told me the new ones were compatable haha I will call them tomorrow and find out!   thanks  guys!

I dropped my autohelm unit off at Raymarine last Monday to be checked out/fixed.  Just received a call from them today it was repaired and it shipped out yesterday with no charge.  I was amazed how quickly they turned that around.

I had to drive to Hooksett for work so I dropped it off on the way - but the address from L&M above is the one.  You can give them a call and leave a message and they will call you back.  You could probably just send it to the address above and put a note in the package outlining the problem and your contact information.  Raymarine is great to work with!  I just received the unit back today and will have time to get it reinstalled before the weekend!
