For Sale : USA 1992 Tiara 31 Open w/ twin 454's- $33900

Recommended Posts

1992 Tiara 31 Open, Excellent condition for a boat this age! And we take very good care of it. Twin Crusader 454s, with about 1,150 hours and running strong. Professionally maintained. In fact, I have nearly every receipt and invoice over the past 23 years. New windlass, new upholstery, two LCD TVs, new stereo, newer VHF, Raymarine C-120 with Radar, custom, 270 gallon fuel tank. Includes outriggers (need to be re-strung). Bottom was soda blasted this spring and has new barrier coat and bottom paint. This boat spent the first 12 years of its life on Lake Winnipesaukee and there are no visible signs of salt problems. TURN-KEY. Professionally maintained. Fresh paint, newer batteries, new windlass, newer canvas, ready to go. Its a great fishing and family boat that we take much pride in.

MOTIVATED, THIS IS THE LOWEST PRICE 31' TIARA OF ITS MODEL FOR SALE IN THE NORTHEAST. Owner's name is Bill. $33,900

I'm assuming then that the boat has spent the last 11 years in saltwater?

Hi, Mikey - Essentially, yes. I guess that in the interest of full disclosure I didn't put the boat in the water in 2010 and it was only in the water for a few weeks in 2012.

Beautiful boat! Someday, unfortunately just not right now.

silverfoxcharters.net

Thanks! One of the posters here, madsierra, was in the area over the weekend and went out for a quick ride with my wife and his girlfriend. He seemed very impressed with the boat but, alas, prefers a little more room down below. My wife, I and the dog have spent a week at a time on it, no problem. But four adults for a week would admittedly be a little tight!

Yes...I did look at the boat last weekend. spent a couple hours looking over the Boat and then went for a ride out in the harbor. the boat is very clean and shows better then most boats 10 years or more newer. it ran great and everything worked as it should. TONS of storage and a huge flat fishing deck! I have looked at and been on a few salt water boats and this one does not look like them....keeps her in top shape for sure! We have wanted a Tiara for awhile and the ONLY reason we did not buy it is we wanted a little more room in the cuddy to be able to sleep 5 or 6 people. this would sleep 4 easy & fish 6 people & do it in comfort and class!  Someone needs to bring this awesome fishing machine back to fresh water mount some riggers on her and bloody the deck with some Big Kings on daily basis!!!

For anyone that thinks I'm just a friend trying to help sell a friends boat..I was in town and saw this boat on craigslist. had never Meet Bill and his wife prior to that day. They are Both very Nice and have a great boat in my opinion.

Only if my current boat would sell I would be out of here on the next flight and have this boat bought and shipped here asap. I have been on a few in this model myself and I tell you this boat is the answer to both family and fishing needs combined. I wish I wish I wish. Damn I even clicked my heels 3 times

Hi! Not closed cooling if, by that, you mean there is raw water cooling with elbows, manifolds, and risers. Do freshwater boats not typically have that? Just curious. I'm clueless here.

Closed cooling aka fresh water cooled means there is coolant in the motors, and the lake water cools the engine coolant using hear exchangers

FWC fresh water cooled. Closed loop.

RWC is raw water cooled.

Most vessels taken into salt water life were converted or ordered to spec that way.

Hey, guys... Just I thought I'd post an update that the boat is still available and finishing up spring commissioning in a week. This includes two new (rebuilt) Rochester four barrels. The marina is doing all the commissioning and going through everything for me this year (too busy).

*edit* budget is 8k.  Hey all, finally ready to upgrade to a newer/bigger boat. I'm in no rush, as well, it's October but I do want something by the spring. Probably wanting to go aluminum deep V - 18' or larger, but open to other suggestions/offers. Looking for something that can handle Lake O for salmon and trout on the days that weather / waves permit but still trailer to finger lakes for musky/trout/pike and bass. Budget is 8k. I take care of my gear, and don't want a project boa
