Don't sell yet!  At least those were grass carp they found.  They are often sterile and stocked places to keep weeds under control. Hopefully those were escaped sterile fish, but even if they weren't, the grass carp aren't too bad.

 

If they start finding silver (the jumpers) and bighead carp we're in real trouble.

wow quite the article didn't have to read it all but yea like mentioned,  the grass carp are not the asain carp  they are different species.  we are still safe for now!

The problem is the same......we can't control the idiots who dump exotics into larger bodies of water. Canada has intercepted numerous trucks crossing the border with live bigheads inside.  The Asian community covets the flavor of these fish.  Unfortunately, probably just a matter of time.
