SLR nearing full moon

Have not been out since the 5 day blow from the north. Things were pretty sporty around clayton. Had to move the boat twice to seek shelter from wind and waves. No damage to boat. Big winds are a sure sign of the change of season.........

Put in a couple hours last night. Went 2 for 4, but one strike every half hour isn't what we've grown accustomed to. Had to move around a lot.

Surface water temp was down to 53! I'm still stuck in 30 to 35 ft of water, prolbably need to forget my summer successes and start to explore different depths.

Anyone have any experience with fall perch fishing here?

This time of year the schools of perch tend to be larger. Often mark them while trolling for muskie and return to pin point and catch dinner. Where I fish they are usually in 50-80 fow.
