Boat launch near salmon river question

Hello.....just wondering what everyone uses this time of year for this area...I went out of mexico....apparently I forgot how far it is to the salmon river...a lot of other boats out there but I was the only one out of Mexico....thanks for any help!

Depending on the size of your boat (pretty shallow), you could launch at Pine Grove. But I always launch from Mexico a little under 4 miles to mouth of the river.

we use to launch at the light house marina right in the salmon river,just inside from the lake,not sure if it is still open.i think it was 7 bucks and you just put it in an envelope and slid it in the door of the marina is nobody was around.

Thanks for the replies...I will check these out....or get a few more ponies to push me along!!! Just seemed strange to be the only one at mexico!

The boat launch at the light house is $10 now and the last time I was there the water was too low to launch my boat! The owner came out at warned me the water might be too low. He gave me my money back. I like that boat launch because it is so close to the lake! It has rained since I have been there so maybe the water has come up some.
