Question: water levels on Owasco, Skan and Cayuga

I was going to try for some perch on these lakes. How is the water level at the launch ramps near the north end of the lakes? Thanks.

Any one know if Seneca is lowered, or is launching ok at Clute ?

Dean's cove is ok. Was muddy Sunday so I couldn't see how deep but two weeks ago I made it out

Seneca best chance is Sampson or out the park.

You have to wonder with the weather we've had for awhile if the lakes being taken down as a precautionary measure (routinely done each year as flood reduction/prevention) might end up being a mistake this year as with minimal to no snow and if things continue this way and then the Spring is drier than usual we could be in for a "troubled" fishing ans launching season. Lets hope things"normalize" soon

Might get another spring like this year. Water levels 2 ft or more higher then normal... Like I been telling people, we didn't get the cold and snow until after Christmas. Now that it's over... oh we get some snow and cold with more coming this weekend. Have to give the ice fishing a try the year

I was in Geneva last week. The Chamber of Commerce launch was plugged full of weeds to the point that they were piled 8 inches above the water surface.
