One more time into the breach boys!

Launched at Taughannock around 11:00am met a few nice guys that headed south so I went North. First fish was a 22" LL on a five color core with a FLT purple alpha alewife. Stayed deep 200-380 most of the day. Scattered bait in its deep winter pattern down 200-240' lots of small salmon in wolf packs! Had several doubles with the little guys. Finally found a few Lakers above 130' dropped one and landed one on the usual custom paddle and blue uv fly. Ran the rigger down 150-220'. Was out in 365' of water and the rigger took a big shot, I hit something submerged and lost my shark weight, Dam! Water was very low to launch at TG. Stay right going out under bridge. The other guys did well in shallow and caught a big brown that they released, cool.. Until next year fish!....

Two for the table, yum!!

WTG John and nice report. We opted for perch fishing but 6 pickerel (a couple about 4-5 lbs) spoiled our plans by chasing them away before the wind completed the screw up :)
