If you're out of your home port, I'd be fishing on the edge of the mudline just out of the mouth and east. Newmans to cowsucker over and over. Half in the stained water and half just outside.

Well... after all was said and done this morning was a failure. Boat problems kept us from fishing more then 10 mins! Still felt great breaking the pier heads and setting rod's!!

I know that feeling, last year opening day of walleye season blew the lower unit, didn't get on the water till the salmon season. Sucks!!!!!

Launched yesterday and trolled from the creek to the nose at several depths with no luck. It was good to get out anyway.
