Splash down/Shake down predictions!

So this warm weather has got me optimistic in the ice leaving soon and allowing us to get out there trolling for those trout and salmon. What do you guys think will be your shakedown/splashdown day?

 

I'm hoping between 3/19/16 and 4/2/16. I need to put a roof on the cottage so if I am done with that in march I will be out fishing sooner than later (if the ice is gone).

I was hoping for a trip to the bar or out in front of olcott this weekend but that east wind is gonna be brutal. Probably take the King Slammin 2 out for her maiden voyage by second week in March. Just put all the tracks on today, waiting for the riggers from Johnson Outdoors.

I flew over Erie today.  Almost no ice on the lake.  There is still 42 degree water off shore along most of the South shore over deep water.  The shoreline needs warm rain to get it kicking.  Otherwise the Gina Plant.  My guess is earliest might be March 20th?
