night crawler insanity

Not sure where this topic belongs but where I live (western NY)

I have never seen night crawlers as thick as tonight

We have 400ft of fence around our chicken yard and the night crawlers were so thick last fall that you couldn't walk out there without stepping on them. Most of them were stuck together 2 by 2. That's the most I've ever seen, and we've had chickens for 3 years.
