Got to the launch at 5:30 and everything including my boat was coated in a nice thick frost.  I could not remember if the docks would be in at the launch so I had my chest waders with me just in case.  Good thing I did.  Got the boat launched and picked up my buddy at the bridge.  Had everything rigged and ready to go last night so we were fishing within minutes of being on the lake.  First hit was just before shipbuilders but lost it fast.  Got a double about 400 yards past that and landed the one in the picture with me in the Cabelas waders.  Got two more hit and misses after that and got a nice brown right in front of Webster pier.   Headed back shortly after that for Easter stuff with family.

Fishaholic69 watch the launch to the left (east I believe) the concrete guards are a mess and all over the ramp.  The other two are good to go.  Water level was ok for my 18 ft starcraft.  Brucehooked up you are being an ahole.  They were both delicious.

Drove down Empire Blvd. this evening and saw 2 or 3 boats at the docks already. I guess they didn't waste any time, since the bridge was just closed today. I wonder when they will put the docks in at the launch and also when they will start charging a launch fee.
