kicker bracket

Hello was hoping on some input on this item,I been looking for a way to steer my 8 horse kicker I found this on Amazon,good price  around 50 bucks .Any help would be great thanks Charlie

I have one and use it when salmon fishing to keep the back of the boat clear. It works well for steering but it is hard to go straight with it. The boat always turns to one side or the other and you have to adjust it/keep an eye on the boat. I don't know why. I do walleye fishing and local 9.9 lakes and I like the tiller option. I paid about 35$ for mine and you can also make them in you go to a local hardware store.

I have a Panther steering kit to connect my kicker to main motor. Works fine-only issue was that it vibrated a bit. Fixed that by sliding a piece of hydraulic hose over the exposed shaft.

I use one only problem I have had was the end got bent up a little and doesn't work as good as it did new but that wasn't any fault of the manufacturer just me forgetting to tilt the kicker motor up before trimming my big motor.
