Planer boards

I just got gone making my planer board mask now i have a few other questions.

1. What kind of line can you use for the planer board tow line?

2. What release works best for pulling copper lines?

3. If you make your own boards are they strong enough to pull copper lines ?

Use 250# power pro so releases slide out easy. Scotty big releases work great. I use double keeled otters and pull 300' copper along with lead and they work like a charm.
