Navionics chip?

It's time for me to upgrade my chip, what does everyone recommend for a humminbird helix ??? Fish the finger lakes and south shore of Ontario

I am also interested to know everyone's thoughts. I have upgraded to a Helix also. I almost bought the Navionics hot maps but then I saw they were discontinued.. I am using the Navionics maps on my phone and am pretty happy with it..

What is the difference in the maps on the helix and the navionics?

Yeah the 9 and 10 have maps preloaded (unimap maybe?). I have helix 7 which did not come with maps. Navionics+ is light years ahead of the unimaps that came preloaded on my other unit (humminbird 788hd di combo). Come with 1 year of free updates and you can select which lakes you want to download updated maps for. I am still playin around with it, but so far me likey
