Anything is possible with the winter we had, remember these fish did not

go "dormant" over the winter. They will poss mature early this year due to eating all winter. Those fish you are seeing that look "mature", teeth pushing, eggs full size, could also be wild fish. When we had the clipping going on for the lake, we saw the wild fish run earlier than the hatchery fish on the SR. We could be looking at another August early run again this year. Time will tell!!!
