Olcott Kings

King fishing looks good right now on the west end. Is it possible thes Kings do not move east as July and August in Mexico bay is king time I thought most kings traveled there for spawing ? Or is a west end fishery year round building up from pen rearing?

They will move East. We do have a little staging activity off the Oak, Olcott and the Niagara but 90% head back to the water of their origins ....the Salmon River.

That fishery stays fairly stable at Olcott through the 2nd week of August, then dries up as the migrants start heading east.
