I bought a helix 10 sonar/gps for $820 and liked it so much I replaced my raya70d with a helix 9 for $610. Everyone that has seen these work on my boat are impressed. Especially for how little they cost.

Don't buy a Lowrance hook. See my post on this forum. Lowrance used to be a reputable company. No more

I have had lowrance in the past and switched to a garmin and loved it. Just sold that boat and purchased another with another lowrance. I miss my garmin! I had a garmin touch and loved it. The new ff is a little harder to navigate and just doesn't turn my crank. It's an hds 9 touch. I'm sure over time it will get easier. Read the post about lowrance customer service.

What a disaster went to dicks and bought a helix 5 gps combo and opened it up and found out there was no power cable or the mounting bracket for the transom

Took the fish finder back to dicks and went to cabelas. Signed up for the visa cabelas card and got 7grand to spend so we got a helix 7 a fish hawk td 2 dipsy poles
