Depends on water temp. Now mid 70's, when it's low 60's, game on.

If the lake flips in the summers and the cool water moves into shore you could catch them right now. Leading loc brown was caught off fair haven pier yesterday

Deep water temp off Rochester was 75 degrees last night, NE winds have caused an up welling.... temp. is 45 degrees as of 10 am Sunday

Browns have moved with the temp and are being caught off the piers right is. Water off Charlotte pier was 42* due to this lovely NE blow we have had and I am hearing that the Kings have run for cover and aren't around like they have been.

That deep water temp is a day old. The NWS calls my work at 7:45 every morning to get the temp. The D&C publishes that temp I. The next day's paper.

Well that answers my questions. I had gone out this morning and had one bump but no hits. Olcott east pier reports said they caught some on the west pier.

That's what keyed me in. Young man from Ohio i met him and hits dad this morning at a local bait shop
