ran a quick trip this morning before work. we left the dock at 530am and headed straight north. Set up in 120 FOW and just as the 2nd dipsy rod went in the first one out 340 White paddle/hammer fly started screaming.  After a great fight and some LONG runs we netted a king that was just shy of 30lbs. 10  minutes later second dipsy fires out 315 pulling green board / green crinkle fly. As i swooped the net under him i knew it was going to be nice. in the boat it came and it was a beautiful Atlantic salmon. 2 in the box before 7am. we were happy. ended up taking another smaller king off 125 rigger over 170 before calling it quits. We had some good action despite a short window to fish in.

I think you need to check your scale......that King looks every bit 30++

I agree. I never did get an "official" weight but it was just bouncing the 30 line on my boat

I'm one of those guys that is conservative with my numbers without a "true scale".
