Went out of Ibay last week looking for some kings.  The lake turned over and surface temps were around 47 degrees.  We cruised out to 400 fow and had blank screens all over the place.  So as the saying goes, when in doubt, fish for trout.  That's exactly what we did.  We motored into 130 fow in front of hedges and dropped a couple gambler cowbells down.  It was immediate action.  We ended the day 4-6 with a giant tangle at the end that cut it short.  Biggest laker tipped the scales at 23 lbs.  The current was so bad that day, our port side rigger was running behind the boat.  we were going almost 4 on the surface and 1.7 at the ball.  Hope you guys enjoy the video, its from the go pro attached to our shark weight.

That was a awesome vid. and yes gambler is the king of laker rigs, some **** about the added pull when fighting the fish, it's not like a plain spoon, but this helps the fish in a sence as you can't just crank it to the surface which helps the fish release the air in its air bladder for a healthy release. You will catch many more lakers with cowbells especially with tested and proven Gambler Rigs!! Good luck and tight lines to you!!
