I am finished the Ontario Derby and preparing for the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular. I hope to have a few hours to play with the new boards as I won't lie, I don't think I have it set right. It does really drag. I was watching other boats and mine wasn't doing the same. I will read and watch some videos. And will look for someone in Owen sound to help me. I am not too shy to ask. Regardless of whether you double wrap or upgrade to the lock jaw clips, I highly recommend everyone upgrade to the stainless steel clips. You'll eventually lose the whole setup, especially if running braid, due to a tiny groove that will wear in the plastic pins and cut your line.

I took one popular model back after buying the upgrade kit because I saw yellow birds cheaper and included the flag already. I like them better all around.
