sharpening hooks

just wondering if there is a big difference in hook files since I don't have one yet.since I'm just getting back into big O fishing most of my lures are new with sharp hooks,the dreamweaver hooks don't seem sharp at all.I love the ss spoons and the painting on them but seems that the hooks could be sharper.any thoughts on hook files?

Eze-Lap Diamond Hone

Been using the LM Medium Grit 400 hone for the last couple years,fantastic hone.

Any hook that has been chromed becomes dull after the process.

I check all new hooks,and use the thumb nail test(hook point can't slide across the nail=perfect).

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thinks dreamweaver hooks stink! Some of them are so bad you can't even sharpen them. I have to replace the hooks. Thats alright, I'm done buying them.
