Pick one Brown Trout Port...

If you could pick one port for spring browns, and lakers for a back up from the Niagara Bar to say Sodus, which one would it be....

Just interested to see everyone's preference. Thanks in advance

Bear Creek. How can you beat Ginna's influence in the spring along with other creek flows and structure to boot

I've never fished down there but have it on my list, i usually fish out of the Oak. I was thinking of trying Hughes this spring...

Rochester.  It has the most consistent color from the Genesee River.

From Sodus west is where I will be this spring. I moved from Mexico, and now my first month of operation will be from Sodus west!!!

From Braddocks Bay area East to Webster park/Ginna Plant area is most consistent , But Heavy pressure.

 

 

Henderson Harbor on  down south had good brown fishing a few years in a row, But has seemed to be missing the last couple springs.    I realize this well east of your Sodus targeted area.

 

 

Bigger browns on average to the numbers caught would be Golden hill State Park West to Niagara. Always structure-water color and more consistant Temps. and  BAIT (Niagara River influence). Brown trout water with less pressure = Growth

 

ALL 3 of these spots have the Lake Trout Option also that you asked for.
