Took my buddy's boat out for her shakedown around 11 today. He rebuilt the carb and fuel pump so it was nice to see her running well and no problems besides dead battery in the ipilot remote but we had the foot pedal. Oh yeah, and we forgot a net. Lol. Anyway, we made two passes by keg creek in 34-35 degree water. Some debris, as expected, with a few large logs. Wind was NE about 5-10 but not too bad. We stayed in that 8-10' range and went 4 for 6 in and hour and a half. All small cookie cutter Browns. Best bait was the tried and true yozuri crystal minnow in brown trout. Black and gold and black and purple ss bay rats also took a fish each. Back to the streams for steel tomorrow, and hoping the weather cooperates for a trip to the Bar on Friday.
