Fort niagara launch

Anyone know if the launches at fort niagara either got dredged out or water high enough to launch a decent size boat (24ft)? I know last October launching a kayak out there would have been tough let alone a bigger boat.

I launched my 18' boat 2 Sundays ago. But I was very uncomfortable doing it. All they have done is put the posts in for the floating dock

I'm sure by May they'll have those docks in. In October it was so shallow I couldn't put the drive down to start. I pushed off the wall and pole pushed to deeper water to start. The south ramp wasn't much better when loading back on the trailer.

I looked last weekend, the water level is up pretty good. Not sure about how deep the north ramp is, but there is more water now than there was in the fall and winter.

last fall, It was very shallow. I also had to find a tree limb to pole into deep enough water to let the motor down. PATHETIC BOAT LAUNCHES. Both of them. My boat is only 18-19 feet. This could be such a convenient locaiton for the bar, but it is barely usable. They need to be extended way out into the water.

The south launch is fenced off, the north launch has new docks in but the water was to murky to see if they extended the launch. Doesn't look like any concrete work has been done on it anyway.

Is the south launch still being worked on or blocked off? Anyone been down there recently to see?
