HB2 116 Posted March 28, 2017 Sucks to show up And have the water real muddy. if it's real bad I have a big rattle trap chart/orange that got me a few over the years in those conditions . Bright jointed stickbaits w/rattles also . bigger is better in those conditions. Vibration is the key IMO. Not to muddy , Brass orange, Chart / orange. jimski2 55 Posted March 28, 2017 Stickbaits in shallow waters float up if you have a snag on a line and you stop the boat. Muddy waters on the edge have clear water underneath and fish hide there. Try fishing the edges of colored waters.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Gill-T 380 Posted March 31, 2017 As others have suggested, bright colors with rattles. Renoskys have some glow patterns and they have rattles. If the water is too muddy, you could fish the transition area where the clear water mixes in. You will not get as many fish if the the transition area is off the shore too far to stay in the warm water. When faced with conditions too muddy, I make mud pie by peeling out into the green water beyond and fish lakers.
