35 inch, 16.25 walleye this spring

WOW that's a whale!! Best part she's still swimming, waiting to make someone's day!!!  She ain't no dumb one:lol:  They don't get that big hitting mans artificial baits. I would say that fish could only be caught on a live bait rig.

Yea, I hear ya jk!! I'd probable swallow my chew & fall overboard, if my eye's saw something like that, I saw some big eyes, fishing the western basin of Erie, absolute slobs comming of the spawn, in the early part of the spawn they hit like 1/2 or 3/4oz buck tails tipped with a minnow, this usually goes for a month till they make the transition over to harnesses. We used to go out to turtle creek, fish down past wild wings. That's one hell of a fish!!

I fished the western Erie twice and each time we saw big walleyes wallowing around on the surface???  I did not understand that and never went back after the second time, just was too easy, did not seem like fishing to me.......jk
