Looking at replacing my rigger line on my unitroll 5 was wondering how much to put on to fish lakers in the fingers and occasional trips to lake o...and specific type I should get also

I would put at least 200' on them.  There are various brands but the more you have on the less chance you have a brain fart and let the thing out too far and loose everything.

And does it spool on like fishing line?

In the early spring I fish deep. It stops being fun very quickly when you're only catching average sized lakers with 150 feet+ of cable out.

Being that I have so little experience catching lakers or salmon even the little ones get me pumping. I just wanna catch them
