VRO SYSTEM DISCONNECT

Disconnecting my vro on my rude 90 system failed and im done buying parts for that system. every year or 2 i put a new pump in it. Someone suggested a while back to disconnect,but i wanted to keep boat original,i am done. VRO IS COMEING OFF. Any suggestionson how to disconnect and still use the same fuel pump. :?: :x
