Dry dock

Has anyone ever dry docked there boat at Meyers on Cayuga lake. Toying with the idea to save on wear and tear hauling boat over an hour 1 way all the time. Thanks just don't know if it's worth it or if anyone has had good or bad experiences. Thanks

I kept a boat there a few summers ago.

Pros:
-Big savings on wear and rest of tow vehicle
-Great location on Cayuga - less than 35 minute tow to Long Point or Union Springs
-One of the nicest launches on the lake
-Bears Bait and Tackle is right there for a fishing report/gear
-Ethanol Free gas station less than 10 minutes down the road

Cons
-No "security", I always took my gear off the boat
-The trees next to the lot make a mess, hope you have a cover
-No shore power if you want to charge your batteries

Probably a stupid.question but the site says launching included does that mean they have a way.to launch your boat or does it just mean the launching fee is waved

When you pay for storage you get free launch access.  They don't launch boats.
