Looking at Friday thru Sunday I see 10-20kt from the W/NW for Friday with 1-2' wave prediction. Does that sound right? On the coast if we see 10-20 kt winds it kicks it up more than that.

Heading out for Friday and getting bummed about the wind predictions. i don't mind rain but the wind might keep us off.

What is everyones take on the weather for the weekend?

Which end of the lake are you going to be fishing? That'll make a big difference in wave heights. If it's blowing 20 out of the NW on the East end you'll see much bigger waves than 1-2's, that's for sure. The West end will be much more fishable in that wind.

Capt Spike,

My wife and I will be out there Friday evening for the weekend and following week. I have not seen the weather as yet, but if the wind is 10/20 out of the west or northwest, typically the waves will be in the 5 foot range. Not comfortable fishing to say the least. I will be around Wright's landing, or at my camper at K & G Twin Pines Campground. On the water, from "my fishfinder", you already know the channel.
