LOTSA club meeting July 13th Captain Matt Yablonsky

On Thursday  July  13 at 7pm, the Lake Ontario Trout & Salmon Association (LOTSA) will be sponsoring a Seminar by Master Capt Matt Yablonsky of Wet Net Charters on small boat tactics for summer time King Salmon. Matt has been fishing Lake Ontario and the Niagra River for 17 years, chartering for the last 11 years, 4 of which were as a full time charter business. Matt fishes out of his 21 ft Lund Tyee Magnum which he trailers allowing him to go where the fish are while fishing up to 250 days each year. He has been very successful on the tournament trail with 38 top 20 finishes in the LOC derbies including  2 grand prize and 6 first place division finishes. He is also a 2 time winner of the Niagra Pro Am in 2006 & 2012. He will be talking about his techniques  and answering questions on ways you can be successful while fishing from a smaller  boat.

 

 

 

LOTSA is a group of mainly weekend recreational fishermen who are dedicated to the enhancement of the Lake Ontario Sport-Fishery including the pen rearing project at Olcott. Each meeting also features a sharing of information the current fishing conditions. So come join us and become more successful at fishing Lake Ontario!

 

 

 

The meeting will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 4487 Lake Avenue (Route 78 two miles north of Lockport), Lockport, NY 14094. The Seminar is open to the
