Lake Ontario Fisheries History Lesson

It was a priority at that time for NYSDEC's Bill Pearce to create an exciting Lake Fishery and give the entire south shore an economic shot in the arm in the process. Of course this wasn't as bold as what Tanner did blazing the trail. He was "all in" however, and not the least bit ashamed about the Sport fishery it created, the economic benefit or the quality of life improvements it brought.
