Wille Planer Reels Question

My boat came with two Will planer reels, but they are attached to my rocket launcher a little differently. The left side reel has the tension knob, the right side reel just has a big wing nut.

 

The left reel has two larch plastic washers between the reel and the rocket launcher. The right reel has the same two plastic washers, but one of the washers is between the wing nut and the reel.

 

Other than the wing nut not being original (it works), how should these plastic washers be arranged on these reels? Both on the inside like the left reel, or one inside and one outside like on the right real?

 

Is there another brand of reels that makes parts that will fit these reels? They work "OK", but my OCD kinda wants them assembled correctly, and my other boat projects are done. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Try matching up your knob here, Wille knob is a 1/2" - 13 threads per inch.
