From the LOC derby leader board, it appears the winner could from anywhere. The current leader is a 30 pounder from Fair Haven, and a second place is 29 pounder from Lewiston. So that gives me hope as I always fish out of Olcott.

Yeah, kings are all over the place right now! Though, the biggest ones are still in Canada! The top of their leaderboard is all 30+ with a 35+ leading!

The number of 1 and 2 year old kings in the lake right now is astronomical.  Yesterday we fished browns and only found two year classes of browns 5-6lbers and 7-9lbers.  Lots of them and they were very healthy.  The lake looks very healthy after the two warm winters.
