Painter

Buddy of mine has an older aluminum boat that he would like to have painted. Anyone know of a good painter for such a project? He's talked to a few auto painters and they say their not equipped to handle a boat. We're on Seneca.

I did my 1966 Starcraft. Got the old algae and water deposits off with vinegar and water, wire wheel, and 80 grit sandpaper. Wiped it down with a tack cloth. Hit the bottom bare aluminum with etching primer and just scuffed the sides and bow with 80 grit, tack cloth, then paint. I used rustoleum tractor paint.

user name: @power drive is a painter. I contacted him last year after seeing pics of his islander he did.. I never went through with it so I can not confirm his work but his islander looked nice

A friend had an 18 ft tracker tundra painted at Goodrich in bath...came out really nice.
