Autopilot install

Just wanted to let guys know how I made out. I ended having Hank from L&M Marine in Port Bay install it. I can't say enough about Hank and his employees workmanship. He worked around the fact I fish three days a week, guesstimated the length of the project accurately, and his work is impeccable..... He also actually came in cheaper than his initial ballpark quote. So if anyone needs an honest mechanic Hank is your man. Tomorrow I get play with the AP out on the lake.

Hank did a bunch of work on my boat couldn't be happier. It's a 3hr haul for me to him and no one else will have my business.

what kind did you get? I got the Lowrance Outboard Pack. Pretty easy install but my helm pump has compression fittings coming out of it, so had to run to West Marine and they had a kit with some compression tees, etc. Heck of a time getting all the air out, and the autopilot will only drive the steering wheel. Motor does not move. But...if the hold the steering wheel, the motor drives fine. So I make a steering wheel lock and I will try it on the water. Good luck with yours.
