start at the 30line straight out had a fantastic day out there. ended up with a 4 man limit containing 7 matures  2 coho and three steelies. 75-90 down  moonshine geezer and carbon 14 were our best spoons and white green dots with the pro/am glow fly also white 2face with the stud fly took all but 1 of our matures on wire out 255 and 280 on a 2 setting. Also released several 2yr old kings and steelies. a lot of the steelies came on sliders and a ten color leadcore

Heading up to point breeze(hopefully) friday for the weekend. The only reason I wouldnt go is because of this big blow on the way. So my question is, after a lot strong winds and rain from the N & E is it fishable inside of 100'? Wind forecast also says strongs winds from the south late friday and Saturday. Thanks in advance.   Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

    • Li’l Bit at the oak 8/31

For our last trip of the year we brought my nephew Mike and his son Jacob. Two newbies. Checked temp at 150 fow and found 69 degrees at 100’. No good at 250 or 300. Went out to the 32 line and found a few fish. Mostly teenagers but we did land one mature and a nice steelhead. Best spoon was a 42nd at 81’ deep which brought in four of our six kings. The best diver was a chrome NBK Spin Dr with a green glow fly out 140’. We will try it again tomorrow before we haul the boat home on Monday.

    • Yankee weekend at the Oak 8/24-8/25

24th - Fished the last double of the season today. In the morning we had a group of Walleye captains from Ohio, and on the afternoon trip we had Dave and his son from the Albany area. Landing ratio wasn't good in the morning. We cleaned 9, tossed a couple back, and dropped as many.. On the afternoon trip we landed 11.   Best screen was 26-28N. We caught mostly 1 and 2 year old fish (Skippy to 15lbs). Our deep meat rigs were our best program on both charters. The new Crush Butcher pulli
