Xxx 307 Posted October 11, 2017 The only thing I do different is I use 1 gallon of water plus I add 1 gallon of apple cider. I use this same recipe on my smoked chickens plus I add Granny Smith apples to stuff the chickens cavity, adds some extra flavor. I use sassafras to smoke with, I only add smoke for an hour.
