Decent afternoon at the south end of Conesus. Private access just south of the Beachcomber. They definitely preferred the suckers over the shiners. Shoulda got pics of the cast iron over the campfire fish fry. Next time!

Pike action was good today , buddy and I put 12 on the ice . 1 decent fish no big ones . Not much time left.

Back at it again. 3 for 3 all 4 lbs. 7 jumbo gills and a couple crappies. Only time of year I hate the sun.

Saw the rescue team on the news dragging people outta the water that fell thru on Braddocks Bay. Be safe gentlemen.

Fished honeoye this morning , got some nice gills. Saw a 4 wheeler go off south end and went north..... SMH . Yeah the ice is thick but the top 4in was horrible when I left at 1015.

He drove by me about mid lake.  Ran around a number of spots.  I was hoping he would not get close . Not the smartest tool out there yesterday fir sure.  Fishing was the usual Honeoye. Some crappies and perch.

This was the South end launch yesterday (Wednesday) evening. We were dropping a bottle of wine off to a cottage owner who allows us access, and rode down to the launch just to say goodbye. The picture tells the tale. 

 

On a better note, the Birdhouse Brewing Company in town has good food and eats. A limited menu, but yummy stuff. And there's a fire pit as well as woodstoves out back to enjoy as you eat.

Fished the south end this morning for a hour . Once the sun came out I was out. I probably could have fished for a bit if it did come out. I had a spud and was checking as I was fishing. Had a good bite going to. Took a pic of what candle stick looks like for people that might not know. This is 10in of ice with 1 hit. Time to put the gear away!!

was trying to hold out hope for one more ice trip this weekend but looking more for open water now.

Fished Braddock's Sunday morning till 2. Real slow for the amount of flags out. Our group iced 5 Pike biggest was 30in. Ice was 5 to 6in.
