Humminbird info

So I bough a new boat and it had a hummingbird 898 si on the stern of the boat by the riggers. When I bought it the head unit was not included. It is all wired up and I was wondering is I could just plug in a helix 10 or is there an adapter of some sorts. Thanks for responses in advance.

The one on the left is the power and other is for something else?? I have and had a 997, 1197,1198 and now 1199 and never seen the round plug. Looks like a plug for a fishhawk 840

Agreed the one on the left is power. But my transducer plug is not round on my helix.

That round plug look like the plug on my lorance.

Top pic is a si transducer and bottom is back of a 840. Hope these help

Could be the networking cable.

The round cable looks to be an Ethernet connection cable which you would need the Dongle cord that goes from unit to that to make it work. It syncs both units together using 1 transducer

Sea-IV thank you. I talked to the previous boat owner and he said that he had a 898 si hummingbird and a HDS 12 Gen three both hooked to the same airman thruhaul transducer. 

 

I also reached out to hummingbird. Will I be able to run two sonar at the same time. Or will the interfer with each other and one will need to be on a gps setting.
