Jigging for lakers/trout?

Was wondering if anyone has ever had success jigging or dragging soft plastic baits/spoons/live bait for lakers in the spring. When the weather gets rough trolling in a smaller boat gets difficult always thought it would be fun to try this instead of getting off the lake! Any info is much appreciated!

I’ve done it quite a bit on the fingers, never tried it on Lake O. Pete Collins has/had a vid on here of some laker jigging on Lake O.

I know they do it lake George and have real good luck. I am pretty sure they use 6 inch swimbaits.

Works just like the fingers for lakers- have to find the fish 1st. Don't bother making a drop w/o fish on the screen.Fish need to be on the bottom in water shallower than 80'. Lot of stuff on here about the rigs used. Best to have a bow mount if choppy. Read the posts on here about the technique and specific baits, save yourself some time.
