Night fishing light - recommendation

Good Day, was thinking of drifting at night a few times this year - Keuka lake. There seems to be a ton of various lights out there. Anyone have a recommendation? Batteries? 12v?

what ever color you chose I would get LED lights they use half the energy of a standard bulb. I replaced all the lights on my boat over the winter to LED's , now im drawing about half the amps with all my lights on as I was with just my underwater lights on.

Old school was to hang a lantern off the side and sew on a sawbellie and drop it ~ 5-10 ft below the school of bait that will show up.
