After a lot of convincing, finally ended up going to waneta. Casting isn’t my forte. After a long morning of no follows or strikes....boredom started to sink in.

Then BOOM!

43.5 inches

And now the itch started where another trip might have to be in the near future. Musky Fever is sinking in.

Not a musky chaser....but I could be!. I know for a fact that are, or have been, some huge muskies in Waneta, Lamoka and the Mill Pond.:speechless:

Waneta humbled me today. First time going to that lake and first time chasing muskies. Had 6 follows. All on tandem inline bucktails. Just couldn't get them to bite

If you can get followers you can catch them. Some days they just won’t eat no matter what. Stay at it.

3 beginner musky rods and reels on the way. A few new baits to add to the 5 I already have. Even if its a 30 incher I'll be happy. Definitely addicted. Love the pike up here on the lake Ontario bays but that was way more fun
