Are shark weights worth the $?

I am going to get some heavier weights, been running 8#, and I am wondering what you guys think of these shark weights? They sure don't give these things away @ $70/ weight. are they really that much better than the ball w/ fin type units?

Andy, I bought 2 - 12lbs and love them. The blow back is much less even on depth raider side for me. I will probably never run a cannon ball again unless I contribute one to the bottom on cayuga. I can say that they have improved my catch but mainly because my counter on down riggers is closer to true running depth.

I run a few different style weights. When fishing 75' or above I'm running Ridgeback Rattlers in a 13lb weight. These have a cool cross drilled hole pattern to let water through and crate bubbles. When I go below that its 15lb sharks. I don't know of any other weights that track as good as a shark down deep, or else Id have them.
